teenage pregnancy

Teenage pregnancy is a problem for many girls. Its normal to be curious about having sex. The problem about teens having sex is using no protection. Not only can you develop a baby but you can also catch a disease and some can be life threatening. About 1 out 10 girls become pregnant. most of the time its unplanned. a freshman at south east high school said "teenage pregnancy is not always a mistake. when she attended middle school she had sex. she was 13 years old when she lost her virginity. not only did she realize she is pregnant but would also be raped and physically abused repeatedly. while pregnant she would suffer being yelled at. the saddest part is when she said "not only is my life already planned out for me but I'm going to have to raise a child for i' am still one myself. the guy is 'loved' or thought she did told her "i only got with you for one thing, that one thing i got". not only did he get a young girl pregnant but he also left a child that he created himself. she explained to me that she didn't even get the chance to tell him about her pregnancy although he already knew. as the beautiful young girl spoke her tears would fall from her brown eyes for that boy shattered and scared her life. she feels so guilty from keeping secrets from her mother. her mother tolded her that she can trust her in even the worst and no matter what she will be there for her. she did not right away find out she is pregnant, at three months she did two months later she realized she had just realized she had a miscarriage. she said she remembers the pain she felt. time has passed since then today she is thankful that she has a second chance. although sometimes she wishes to have a 5 months years old baby in her arms. she is very happy for she believes that her baby is an angel today. such a stronger person she never let herself down. on the saddest days she said she listens to the song "i still love you" by deestylistic. she wishes to have a baby not to replace but to fill in that empty space she has. she is a Good student at school but she does go a little crazy by drinking and smoking. she said when she's real depress she goes out to raves and parties alot. she does not always make the right choice but she said she's still trying and eventually she is going to achieve that goal. Kimberley Martinez a senior at south gate high school said "teenage pregnancy is good and can also be a bad thing. good because she will learn responsibility and bad because she's too young and her body isn't yet fully developed. she wouldn't be able to go out with her friends and wouldn't be able to enjoy her young life. another reason it's good is because "it's the most greatest gift you can ever get". bad because most teen moms become drop outs and 'if ' they care they return to college until their late 20Th's. "if a guy really does love you he'll wait and not rush you into having sex early" said Martinez. "girls that get pregnant early are confused they still don't know what they want. " there all so young, it's unbelievable were in a crises and teens are still getting pregnant!" said Martinez. Martinez said " if they really want to have sex they should use protection. Although the best decision is to keep your virginity until you really believe your ready. "it's best to use a condom instead of birth pills because it does protect you on diseases, it's also best if you go to the doctor instead of using a pregnancy test from a drugstore (they don't always work!)" says Martinez. Martinez believes it;s best you stay a virgin it keeps less stress and worries out. Junior Cortes a Senior at L.A high School, he believe that girls are confused and guys that get girls pregnant are immature asses! Cortes stays "it sad seeing girls so young and pregnant. He believes you should never judge anyone, either those girls think their in love or have been raped. Cortes has a younger cousin named Jazmin Vasquez16, he said that she was taken advantage at a rave and the sad part is that she doesn't have a clue who the father is. Cortes helps her raise her son and drives her to the hospital when the baby is ill. he also got a job so that he can help raise money for the baby's food and diapers. he said it's better a guy leaves it in his pants and the girl to have a little more respect for herself. so teenage pregnancy can cause a girl to be depressed and can also feel low self-esteem on herself.

Dodgderr fanss till the veryy endd!!

Vanessa Lorenzano she is a student at southeast high.(I'm going to interview her in whats her favorite team). Lorenzano said that her favorite team is LOS ANGELES DODGERS!! She had told me that she watched the game on October 18, 2009. I asked her 'what team were they playing against' and she said 'PHILADELPHIA PHILLIE'S!!'Lorenzano told me she watched it at home with her family and some old friends she hasn't seen in a while. I asked her 'why did she see the dodgers play' and she replied that it was her favorite team and that she has to support them even though they lost=(!! Although the dodgers lost we still love them...This is L.A & L.A is DODGERTOWN!!!!! and this is my interview.

~~A GREAT SUMMER NEVER TO FORGET~~

THE PERSON THAT I'AM GOING TO INTERVIEW IS NAMED ALEX ALVAREZ. HE A FRESHMAN AT SOUTHEAST HIGH SCHOOL. HE IS A STUDENT IN MY CLASS. HE SITS ACROSS THE ROOM FROM ME. HES VERY QUIET BUT VERY DOWN TO EARTH WHEN YOU MEET HIM. I LOVES TO PLAY FOOTBALL, HE'S BEEN PLAYING FOR ABOUT SEVEN YEARS NOW. WHEN SCHOOL BEGAN HE TOLD ME ABOUT HIS SUMMER, HE SAID IT WAS A SUMMER NEVER TO FORGET IN HIS LIFE. DURING HIS SUMMER HE PLAYED ALOT OF FOOTBALL BUT HE DID NOT ONLY PLAY FOOTBALL HE ALSO WORKED. HE DECIDED TO WORK. ALVAREZ BELIVED IN TWO THINGS, ONE RESPONSIBILITY AND THE OTHER WAS TO HELP OUT HIS MOTHER BECAUSE HE WANTED TO SAVE UP MONEY FOR COLLEGE. ON THE WEEKEND ALVAREZ LIKE TO TAKE BREAKS FROM ALL THE HARD WORK HE'S BEEN DOING SO HE PARTIED WITH HIAS BEST FRIEND JERRY. JERRY IS AN OLD FRIEND OF ALEX. THEY'VE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS ABOUT TO BE FOUR IN JANUARY 2010! ALVAREZ PROMISED THAT ALTOUGH HES ONLY A FRESHMAN AND STILL NEEDS THREE MORE YEARS TO GARDUATE HE SAID THAT WILL SAVE ENOUGH MONEY SO THAT AFTER GRADUATION HE COULD ATTEND A GREAT COLLEGE. OVERALL ALVAREZ HAD A GRAET SUMMER TO NEVER FORGET.
